When I used to be a store manager for a clothing store I opened one of my stores on Easter Sunday (it was an option, no other clothing stores in the mall were opened) and we did close to 35K that day. It kinda sucked for those managers that next year to have to either open that day going forward or to step up their game the other days to make budget.

It was womens clothes, in a 5K square foot store in one of the busiest malls in the east coast. Not many kids....
