Re: does this salon investment sound good
I wont get into a battle of wit with you Neon. You are very clever. If your salon isn't doing as well as you'd like I bet you can fix it by sitting around and complaining about it. That being said I would bet alot of money that you do very well.

Re: does this salon investment sound good
What is a refurbished bed I"m just curious? Neon it's March no need for specials you want to get your money now it's busy season and March has been great for us.
I take everything back Please don't listen to my advice and listen jmiles please invest your money in this salon. To answer your question sorta speak this is a clientèle building business day 1 you open you have ZERO in your database WAIT you may have you and your staff. However that is not making you any $$$$ so it takes years to create a large enough database and clientèle of customers to make $$$$. Some right off the back do make $$$ very small % in this Industry. This is not a gas station where every needs gas to drive. Derf your so sexy! Mrs. W

Off to work but parting shot to Know it All ... What's wrong with taking your competition's database? That doesn't take years where I live. Wait I forgot it's March. They will all be at Neon's. Shoulda waited until April to open. Hmmm. McDonald's is #1 franchise. Why do they sell things for $.99?

Please share your system with us how you go and convert all of your competitions members and EFT information into your system in a quick manner and make them your customer? Besides saying your going to direct mail them all. Your name NEW OWNER: No experience at all in this Industry. My Name: I KNOW IT ALL: Enough said.

Re: does this salon investment sound good
Yes people have to eat. But they don't have to eat at McDonald's. So because only 10% of the population tans it makes running your business different? Do you know how many people that is? What is 10% of the population around your salon? 8,000 people? 10,000 people? How many people do you have in your database? 500? Why not more? How am I going to do it? Personally, I'm going to do whatever it takes to get them in the door one time. After that, I got em. Because I'm going to a much better job than my competitor. I know an extremely successful salon owner who just ran a "free tan weekend". She did 300% more in sales and picked up tons of new customers. Believe it or not Know it All they were probably someone else's customers before. Maybe they were yours. Just because it is tanning season doesn't mean it's tanning season at your salon. Sit back and do nothing if you want. Or complain on tantalk and try to make the people willing to put something into their business look stupid if you want. I don't know anything about fast food restaurants either but if I opened one I could figure out pretty easily what makes McDonald's successful and Joe's Burger Bar not. And it isn't sitting back saying "It's burger season. Don't run specials. Just collect the money Neon!"

Re: does this salon investment sound good
As to how I'm going to get them to my salon .... Do your own homework .... if you had the answer to that you probably wouldn't be some negative towards new owners. Last time I checked EFT's weren't a lifetime membership. Maybe you are beating the crap out of your competition. How would I know? I hope you are, but to assume that someone else is going to fail when you know nothing about their situation is a stupid assumption. A year ago I couldn't tell you much about this business but that's why I come to tantalk. I read everything and listen to people like Sunsally and Steve and even Neon. I bet if I had bought a used Heartland 2M Neon would have no problem with me. He's just ****** I bought a Suncapsule.
