Re: does this salon investment sound good
Well, all I can say at this point is that you have it all figured out, those of us who have been doing this for years are clueless. Send me info when you are ready to sell franchises in May, thanks.

Re: does this salon investment sound good
This is what peeps aren't getting -- you think -- right now -- you don't have 250k invested -- AND that is good YOU SHOULDN'T 'cause you are going to need some of that to pay rent after 6 months -- MOJO's Predictions -- with upgrade beds ('cause if you talked to sunsally you know that's where the money is), *rent*, slooow season and everything else -- CAPITAL investment in a salon will be at/or around the 250k mark by year 2 or 3. LOTS of people -- well established salons do not make enough to pay rent and payroll some months of the year -- let alone brand new, non data base owning salons.
Here's a little secret No franchiser will ever say out loud to a potential new investor putting their financial lives on the line --A tanning salon is a great loss on a tax return for those that have been too profitable in other areas during the same fiscal year. Oh My God -- I've figured it out -- THE WHOLE INDUSTRY is a loss leader.

Re: does this salon investment sound good
Missing my point entirely Neon. What I'm saying is essentially the same thing. You guys seem to have it all figured out and you are **** near insulted when someone new sees it differently. "Some" of you prove my point with every post. $250,000 investment for a 7-9 bed salon? What exactly are you spending $250,000 on. That's outrageous!
