**** they did have some nice beds, this industry is not as strong as it was 10 years ago it is going down hill it seems for the manufactuers maybe they need to lower prices so we can afford to buy more equipment?? Just got to corporate it was better customer service and everything else when we had more small business owners

It's what I have been saying for months and months going back to 2003/04. Too many salons. Overcapacity. Too many manufacturers chasing fewer tanning salons. Let me qualify the latter with, chasing undercapitalized salons. Salons that are over-stretched with subprime loans, which is another problem entirely. Free interest my ***. There is a cost to everything. The tanning salon industry is undergoing structural changes, like any industry that is fully matured. This industry has a way to go before reaching equilibrium. It has happened in the auto industry, the airline industry, and many others. I would check the better business bureau for the dope on any manufacturer or supplier you do business with. If you are going to buy many thousands of dollars of tanning machines, run a credit check, pay the $100, or whatever they charge, to get the dope on tanning industry suppliers. Make sure your deposit money is in escrow. Get references from previus buyers.

puretan are assholes.....and they always will be.....but hey i got 8 of the cals myself and they have been running for more than 10 years with minimal problems....but besides the point....they screwed everyone over and now its their turn!

thats ok the old soleil company in chicage screwed a bunch of people and vendors also.. then they just closed up shop and opened up under another name with some of the same people running it.. Watch out for them also
