I'm trying to sell off my remaining swimwear so I can use that display area for snowmobile belts, fuel filters and ice fishing supplies. Should do very well.

hockey and I carry similar if not the same products. The only downfall to bath and body that I have see is every christmas i have to add one new product line, people dont like to give the same products every year for gifts, but it has increased my bottom line. Jewlery, sunglasses, faux bags, would not do well for me. You gotta do what works and I am not one to fault someone for making a little extra $$$ to pay the bills

Small towns have a different problems! I agree with what all has said here. In our area, (towns with populations of 1600 and less) you can not make it with just tanning. Video-Tanning, Beauty Shop-Tanning, and we have Gym, Tanning and Formostar. Maybe we are not considered professional. I will agree we are not professionals, but, I am a pro when it comes to making money and the pride I take in my business. Our gym blows away Curves, our tanning beats all others around here, and the wraps are doing outstanding. Any one of these would not make it alone in any of the small towns around us. Would we like to have a great salon and that be all we did...............Yes.
PS....We don`t look like a Flea Market ...............But, if I owned a Flea Market...bet your butt it would be a Kick-*** flea market. I am not trying to start trouble..........just stating you gotta do what you gotta do.. I have seen and heard of many great looking "professional" salons going under. |

No one said you can't be the best you can be at whatever you do lol I don't think that just tanning salons that offer tanning are going under becuase they aren't selling add ons. There are numerous reasons why they can go under.
