Age Spots

I'M 37 AND HAVE STARTED GETTING AGE SPOTS ON MY FACE FROM TANNING. ANY SUGGESTIONS OTHER THAN NOT TANNING MY FACE?

THEY WEREN'T THERE BEFORE I TANNED OR MAYBE THEY WERE AND I JUST COULDN'T SEE THEM!!

I feel that it's not from tanning but OVERtanning which falls under Darwinism.

Have you had any children? If so, you may have Melasma. I have it & it sux, but you can work around it somewhat.

Lentigo (liver spots, age spots, sunspots, etc.) are simply darker patches of skin that occur when you get older. They are flat and you can't feel them when you rub your fingers across them.

Assuming that is what you are talking about, there are some treatments that claim to bleach them. There are places that treat them with laser therapy.

UV exposure tends to make them more pronounced since it is the melanin distributing unevenly in the skin that causes these spots. The more melanin, the more they are visible.

I just use a sunblock stick made by Australian Gold. That way I can put it just where I need it. Just dot those areas with the sunblock stick before you tan. Works great.

They are called melasma. There's no evidence they come from tanning. They believe they are from hormone changes. If you had a baby before or were on estrogen for example. What tanning does is make it darker. I only tan my face a max of 5 mins usually. You can ask you doctor to order you Triluma cream, I've heard it works great.
