Re: Back to back tanning

Personal opion about back to back for me over the last 20 years. I have done it a lot and got darker. Most of the time everyother day is fine. I am not the pro like the others here, just as a long time tanner.

I have been tanning for almost 10 years now, I usually do tan every other day but recently I've been wanting to tan more often, must be the cold weather lol.

I always use premium lotions so I guess this is the reason I haven't aged very much. Thanks for your input guys.

Re: Back to back tanning

I usually like to tan two days in a row and then I skip a day. This pattern seems to work best for me.

Re: Back to back tanning

Funny that on another tanning site the pros tell you never to tan two days in a row. One would think that all professionals would say the same thing.

Re: Back to back tanning

When I'm in vacation I stay in the sun all day from sunrise to sundown. The only place where I might burn is the top of my nose.

Re: Back to back tanning

You can damage your skin even if you dont burn. Damage of collagen in your skin happens not when you burnt. Tanning outside for a few hours and then at a tanning salon is plain STUPID. Sorry.
It is clear that you should avoid sun exposure before tanning salon and after.

PS If it is says website for tanning pros it doesn't mean everybody on that site are pros. Sorry again.

Ok thanks for your opinion. I will be sure not to tan in a salon after outdoors again.

Re: Back to back tanning

I don't think tanning back to back is a really bad idea, but I wouldn't do it often. It is good to give your skin a "break" for a day......can't imagine that tanning everyday for long periods of time can be that great for your skin, in the long run anyways. I only tan once a week and I stay pretty brown! I rotate, 1 week hp, then either 160w or 200w laydown or stand up the next and so on. I still wanna look hot in my old age!
