giving the customer too much access. I think people have to b sold. thats why price boards dont work. i do let some call or email to cancel if they moved away from us. i think if they had access to cancel online or change debit info my cancellations would go up.

Hello:

From currently working with my fiance in an industry that is completely done with software and in an industry such as web hosting where all interaction is done over the web andhaving less then a 5% churn rate I see no issue. This is a new idea for you all and I do believe that it scares most of you and that is another reason why you do not understand it.

If your salon is the best it can be then there is no reason why providing your customer a convenience should be any issues. Think about it mortgages, bills, car loans, etc are all done online now. Everyone has can account management system, why not a tanning salon as well.

You look at the negatives why not look at the positives. Your customers can purchase credits or time when they may have forgotten at your salon, can see your lotions, track which bed they went into last, and how long.

This is not a sales pitch by any means. It just seems like many people do not understand the true value that convenience brings to your clients. As soon as, we start building our salons website we will let you play around with the script. We do not plan on selling it; however, it may be a way to add more value to your salon.

NOT scared NOT a new idea. Your system works well in many industries. If you use that type system in a tanning salon that is draft based it would cause you to lose money. Matter of fact that type system would cause any company that sells memberships to leave a pile of $$$$ on the table. Let alone the people that wanted to stop a membership without a cancellation notice they would just go in and change a few numbers in the account so we cant collect..... I COULD GO ON AND ON TO WHY NOT. on one had you want to be convenient on the other you want to make money... i pick make money!!!
