In fairness to Pure Tan...
I know that I have been on the boards a good bit in the last few days complaining about Pure Tan and their refusal to ship our beds.
In fairness, I thought I should let everyone know that we have FINALLY heard from them. Steve Cantrell (owner) called last night and spoke with our owner. He apologized for the delays and problems with our order. He could not guarantee that all of our order would be shipped immediately because they were still waiting on parts to build some of the beds but he did personally guarantee that our 2 Stand Ups and 2 -3 of our lay downs would be completed and shipped for us to receive NEXT WEEK! Yay! Causing problems for a manufacturer has never been the objective of 24/7 - we have our own business to run - we only wanted our merchandise. Thank you to Pure Tan for finally getting the ball rolling. And much thanks to all of you who contacted me regarding other purchase options, I will certainly keep the doors open. At this time, we are going to operate on the basis that Pure Tan will follow through with their promises and look forward to receiving our beds next week. I will certainly keep everyone posted. Honesty and results are all we need. I will make an effort to brag on the positive as quickly as the negative. Thanks for all the help! Karrah

Im guessing, they asked you to post this and called you after seeing your post. am right aren't I??? I got a call after I made post about the delay in my shipping as well.

Thanks, Mali. Believe it or not - they did not ask us to post this. Steve Cantrell did mention to our owner that they knew I had been posting about them and he said "he did not blame us" and that he "understood our frustration." As hokie as it sounds, I just wanted to be fair about it. They promised to make good on our deal and I am going to assume they are going to keep their word this time. I hope the old adage about "assume" doesn't end up applying to me this time.
Plus, I figure it can't hurt for Mr. Cantrell to know that more people than just us are watching how he handles our problem. Thanks for the good wishes. Best to you! I will keep you informed. Karrah

Just to clear up any misunderstandings, we have not actually been "waiting" for our beds almost two years. We "ordered" them almost two years ago but we ordered them with the understanding that we would not need them right away. We were just beginning construction on a new facility and were not certain about the completion dates.
I did not start calling Pure Tan and arranging shipment until Late July or early August, 2006. They were supposed to be scheduled for delivery Nov, 2006. So in reality, we have only been waiting on the beds for over TWO months. But the beds were ordered and PAID FOR in 2005. They just dropped the ball on getting the shipment out on time. Hopefully they have rectified this problem and the beds are on the way. I don't want to mislead anyone. Thanks again!
