no i remember back in highschool it seemed that everyone that tanned was a not so nice shade of orange... i always just figured that it was the lamps and that "thank sweet baby Jesus" lamps have come a long way!

i think its definitely the lamps. i have experienced this also myself. i was religious to my tanning salon until the super chain Desert Sun wrote them a deal to shut down their stores in this area forcing me into their salon (packages carried over). Anyway this salon has turned my orangey tan into a darker brown tan. and im using all types of beds just like i did there. so much so that i actually started using bronzers again. i thought it was the bronzers making me orangey but after using Ionyx for a month at the old salon with no bronzers and being orangey and now DS bronzers at the new salon, im convinced its the bulbs.

also different bulbs have different amounts of UVB and UVA. the more UVB the more brown u will be. UVA triggers lots of color, but it triggers the red and peachy tones of your skin like your friend is demonstrating up there with that lovely white box in her face.

its the bulbs. im glad im not the only one who noticed this.
