Need help find reception area desk

I have been looking every where and I cant seem to find a good reception desk for my tanning salon. I live in the Washington state area ( by Seattle). Does anyone have good place to buy a nice counter area and even waiting room furniture??
Thank you~

Re: Need help find reception area desk

Try driving around to retail places that are closing. I got mine at a Service Merchandice that was closing. Recepticn desk and jewelry counters, etc. That I re-configered. About $650. Nice looking wood, glass tops.

Walk in and ask. Can' t hurt..

Consignment Stores, Hair Salons, Dept. Stores, etc.

You can highlight around them.

Research. It's worth it.

Best of luck,
S.

Re: Need help find reception area desk

ooh! i love glass blocks!

We had ours made for us. we took a design from a book that we liked a lot and had it converted into a wood design and made just for us... this way we were able to change the depth of the desk to suit us and make the counter higher for us taller peoples.

Re: Need help find reception area desk

I have a client that was an Exec Tans franchisee that just closed. He is selling his - very nice. They also have some cabinetry and crown molding. I'll try to get pics and post - although I just went on-line and found their corporate site and as I recall it is pretty similar to this (they have the "arch" doorway and everything too).

If you are interested further, send me a PM with your email or phone number and I'll get you hooked up with him.

Re: Need help find reception area desk

Blah, reception desks overrated, expensive. We went to no desk and I put up the Key board on shelf and put the screen on a wall mount. locking cash drawer love it( I do everything thru my computer) we just downscaled the monstrosity. we did classy bar stools and table for sign up new clients, (people love to sit and twirl on them and they are on hydrolics to go up or down depending on your height.Took the pressure of now i have to purchase something sales are climbing and it makes everything much more personal and have more room for retail its super. Just think outside the box.
