Prep time

How much time do you give your tanners before your beds turn on?

I give them 3 minutes and I feel that is PLENTY of time, but I had a lady come in a few weeks ago and get mad because she couldn't get her packette lotion on in the 3 minutes. I was just wondering what the heck she was doing in there for that time?

Is 3 minutes not long enough?

We give 4 minutes unless they ask for an extra minute or two.

I've got mine set for 5 minutes...usually more than what most clients need, but every once in awhile you get one who thinks they need more. Oh, well honey....the timer is set for 5 minutes for everyone, deal with it!

Mine is unlimited, most use roughly about 3-4, I do have one guy that takes forever though.... luckily he is a lunch tanner and it is pretty quiet then.

Our time preset is 6 min. 98% start bed in the 2-3 min range in our salon. But like all of you there is always that ONE client who needs more time and bascially we tell them the system is setup automatically with a 6 min max delay.at this time the bed will automatically push into tan time..boy does this speed them up ...lol

We do 3, we really can't afford to give more especially during season. Its like herding cattle around here. If they have a special circumstance we try to give them more, but the timers are set for 3

Very few ask for more time. We always had ours at 3 minutes until I decided to tan for the very first time a couple of months ago and realized it was difficult to get all lathered up in what seemed like a short time. We did have many more people ask for the extra time when we were only allowing 3 minutes.
