Re: Prep time
4 minutes, only a few need extra which we give if they ask.
ALL tanners are instructed that they can "turn it on themselves" sooner if they are ready. Most do. I couldn't get ready in 3 minutes I don't think. |

Re: Prep time
we have it set for 3 minutes... and some people complain. i know when i used DS (DS SUX) it took me longer to apply lotion (i thought it was normal), but since i started using tanology i can easily get it done in two minutes and start the bed earlier.
i always tell people to just make sure their eyewear is on and don't worry if the bed turns on... to just enjoy applying lotion and relax. I am now wondering about setting it for 5 minutes and they can turn it on earlier if needed. the only problem i have is the STAND UP... the timer for it is OUTSIDE on the wall... so they would have to wait for 5 minutes naked! burrr! in the busy season i cannot run to the back of the salon and start it for them... i don't know. i want my clients to be happy!!! maybe i will try it today and see how it goes... thanks BRANDY for bringing up a good topic for me to ponder!

Re: Prep time
5 mins. I have signs in the rooms telling them of the delay time. We also tell new signups that if they need to purchase lotion or use the restroom to do so before we set their bed. Once in a blue moon, I have one that forgets or just needs more time. If I am at the front desk and see the data box blinking, I will quickly reset it. It doesn't mess up any thing in the counter log.
OH yeah, sometimes people just get in the bed and wait for it to start. My resetting it has curbed some of this. LOL Last edited by BooBop; 01-07-2007 at 12:38 PM. Reason: add info |
