Does anyone have suggestions for a business to help get me through the slow summer months, i have tried nails and esthetics but gave up?

I sell bathing suits already but haven't tried supplements yet,thanks for the ideas.

My wife does hand crafted Beaded Jewelry and it has gone over huge with customers!
She has made all the jewelry herself and that has also kept her busy during the slow season!

Also try 'parties', like tanning parties combined with the products (nail and manicure products often do well also) you offer or jewelry. Invite people personally (we do by phone) and make a nice evening with some coffee and something sweet. Educational part + selling part :-)

In the new year we are going to try to give some nail/manicure workshops where people have to pay a small entry fee. The parties that we give are now free and we only make money by selling products and appointments.

The nail parties are doing well though (combined with jewelry).
