1/2 Full!
Customer bought 3 bottles of lotion for salon cost on ebay...
We had a long discussion on why lotions purchased there are not guaranteed, may have fillers, contaminated, etc. She assured me the seller was a legit lotion supplier! I explained how it hurts salons to do this and will drive the price of tanning up as the salon owners use the income to supplement the operating costs. She came in today and confessed that her ebay deal wasn't such a great thing after all! All 3 lotions were only 1/2 full.

I sold those bottles more than half full she is a liar.
Serves her right. Seems customers dont give a hey when you try to tell them that buying lotion on line and using their debit cards as credit will help to drive up prices. These are the first people to complain when it happenes. We have kept our prices up this off season. Doing less people but the money has been better. |

She bought them before the show...
She told me she bought them...I told her I would have to raise the price of her tanning then... She asked Why? She gets it now.. She learned the hard way... Looks like DS & AG & CT are winning the Ebay race for the 2007 season! Swedish Beauty & Carabbean Gold are right in there too!

I am so seriously thinkin about going PL this year. It's pretty expensive for just a small salon, though. Last year, a salon acrossed town sold Worship Me way cheap right after it came out in April. I kept the MSRP and sold quite a bit of it, but GEEZ, they didn't have to drop their drawers that quick. It was a new product and people will pay for the newest thing out there. PL would eliminate all of that as well as e-@@@ purchases. Has anyone done it (gone Private Label)? Good results or what? I would really like to know..............

I had a customer who got a great deal on ebay on a Smolder 32oz bottle. It smelled like shampoo. I had her smell the real deal and she threw hers in our trash. Quite a deal
