Cool Re: eye protection

We carry peepers and prospecs. To be completely honest, the peepers are great but I have people complaining about the prospecs constantly. The tie is made cheap and they constantly break. Peepers and wink ease are the way to go!

Re: eye protection

Oh thanks, I was wondering what to carry, I prefer peepers but I like the idea of having the wink ease on hand in the vent they forget their goggles and I need to offer up a less expensive option.

Re: eye protection

I have some customers who buy wink ease every time they tan. They don't like the white lines from the other eyewear. I just checked product sales and so far this year we sold 1,391 Wink eases. I suspect it will increase every year.

Re: eye protection

We don't provide eyewear. We make them buy them. Peepers $3 and winkease .50 They sell like crazy, and they are required to show us their lotion and eyewear before entering a room. We make them sign consent and policy form that has all the info on it. Never had a complaint. And we are the only salon in our town makes them buy them.

They snap in half, or used to, too easily.

Re: eye protection

Correction, the ones we use are called Viewkeepers, better than the wink ease.

Re: eye protection

We sell peepers, sunglobes, sunsets and winkease. We also rent peepers for a quarter for anyone who has forgotten their pair. We do not give out eyewear at all. We sell a ton of it. Kathe

Re: eye protection

I was taught, even though your state is regulated that you MUST provide eyewear, you can still require each tanner to purchase their own pair. Planet Beach would never allow customers to share eyewear, personally neither would I. When a customer asks me why not I ask "can I share your toothbrush with you?" and usually they gringe and buy some personal eyewear happily.
Try that line!
