Sounds like you have been trying to get resolution for months with no luck.

This is not the first time someone has reported an experience like this involving Dustin and VO Marketing, although since he is in the "clique" here, people who have NOT bought from him tend to jump to his defense.

I'd like to hear more. There was a situation like this on Tantalk before with another person who "worked the boards" (she was a moderator even) and they were eventually banned. One other individual gets named quite often too, although he is also still active on here.

This is a VERY important issue since I think many newbies ASSUME that if someone is on here with lots of posts and seems to be "liked" that that gives them some credibility that they may or may not deserve.....

In my opinion, I don't think he is obligated to respond to this on line. he doesn't owe "us" an explanation. Maybe he is on the phone with her addressing the situtation directly.

I agree, Cayenne. Most would expect someone to defend themselves on a thread that casts a negative light on them, but he's not obligated to do so. Before we say any more about Dustin that may or may not be accurate, let's give him the benefit of the doubt. As others have mentioned, maybe he's investigating the problem, or working with the customer in regard to this issue....or maybe he is avoiding the issue all together but unless you're psychic...I said psychic, Neon, not psychotic...let's not jump to conclusions.

Well I am sure glad that Hollidawn posted this thread. I am looking for some used equipment and just happened to be looking on Vore Marketing's website. I can assure you that I will think twice now before making a purchase from Dustin, unless of course he has some kind of explanation for Hollidawn's dis-satisfaction!! He may not owe us an explanation, but with many salon owners reading this, you would think he would want to defend his reputation.

The whole problem is that the freight was damaged and we were waiting for her to have her electrician call us about the wires missing. Never received any call and then I have been waiting on Bill @PC Marketing to get me the costs to replace the ballast box and the full fan housing. Finally got a call from them and they don't manufracturer the ballast box so that is why we needed to talk to the electrician, but in the mean time Bill@ PC Marketing sent them out a fan and it was the wrong thing. Then Holly don't want to package the fan back up and return it to PC Marketing, so that is where we stand.
