Re: Need Help with ETS bed
c'mon guys..this is not about the merits of ETS! I have a bed that has been a good bed and customers like it...it was working fine and now isn't. I just want to get it fixed. The topic is fixing my bed...not arguing about the quality of any company.

Re: Need Help with ETS bed
Pam is chaning out the contactor to start and yes it's under the plastic canopy. I don't think this will help changing out the contactor but keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's not the timer brain and keypay malfunctioning. They are way too expensive. I still can't believe that ets hasn't changed this in their beds, its been nothing but a huge cost to salon owners when these go out. All they need to do is change the timer system to a different digital timer if they wish and add a fan delay and a time delay to it and it would be much cheaper to mfg. and cheaper for the customer when the unit breakes down. I completley rewired one of these units a long time ago and by-passed the digital key pad and timer brain and added a fan delay and a saftey time delay and it worked great. Pam I hope things work out. Jeff

Re: Need Help with ETS bed
i just meant that she might not have to replace the contactor but just fix it .. which is normally easy to do. And that the same thing has happened to me and that is how i fixed it.

Re: Need Help with ETS bed
Thanks everyone. Hubby replaced the contactor today but it didn't help. Sarge is helping via phone and hopefully we can get it up and running soon. Dang..just ordered new lamps for it the day before it died, too!
