Myspace: Business Improvement?
I dont accredit my self to alot of the people on here (salon owners) creating myspaces for their business, but i was the one that suggested the idea a few months ago. So now a few months later and alot of owners having myspaces now, have you guys noticed a difference in business?? Cuz i notice that Gina (CAYENNE2005) has Myspace benefits and things like that, and announces FTW parties and things like that on her myspace......
SO........ HOW HAS MYSPACE AFFECTED YOUR BUSINESS??? |

matrix nice to see you back.
its amazing this kid has better and more professional questions than most of the salon owners and employees who frequent this site. not to mention the newbies and people who want to build tanning booths. matrix your the man.....or boy ~raspberry~

Matrix, I don't necessarily see a great increase in business since I started a myspace page. However, I do notice that I have a lot more tanning salon owner friends around the country. (thank you guys) I should probably get off my butt and seek out the tanners I recognize on here. It would probably work a lot better. But, it was a good idea that you posted and may be working for some owners.

Matrix my son setup a myspace a long time ago but i had no time to work with it. after the salon opened i hooked up with the largest most popular nightclub in town and did promos there and all our info has been on their myspace since january. 90% of my friend list are our tanners. the night club helped a lot. they have over 1800 friends from the area. i was listed on their page until 2 weeks ago. they want to put us back on as soon as i send them a new logo. anyway i think you are right and myspace is a great advertising tool if you use it correctly.
however......beware it can come back to haunt you to. that part i should post in the industry professionals or i can msg you. matrix when you are in college facebook will probably be more popular! |
