*POUT* First Bounced Check

Well this sucks! We got our first returned check today

We have it in our rules everyone signs that there will be a $50.00 bounce check fee.

On the plus side it is only a $6.00 fee from my bank.

On the icky side it was a $99.00 check so I am worried we wont get it back.

*sigh*

The only chance you have is if they are an eft member and you have their CC on file. If not, just pray. Send out an official invoice to them. let them know they have 10 days to pay it or you will send theState Attorney's Office. Send it certified. Good luck and don't take checks cuz it will happen again.

I know that feeling, I got my first one a couple of weeks ago. I didn't send a certified. I left a message with a person to call me. Then I sent it to DA's

I had one my first month for like $120. It sucks! Luckily we banked at the same bank so the teller caught it before it caused damage. I called the girl and left a message on her phone saying I think I misunderstood when she wanted to come in next. She called me back and said I know what this is about and thanks so much for not saying it over my machine. She came in paid me cash plus $50 and is still a client. She had her ATM card stolen account cleaned out. Sometimes bad things happen to good people

Chances are they bought some type of package with that $99, my bank gets them back to me within like 3 days. just stop the package until payment happens. If it was just lotion you are kinda screwed.

Check service - check service - check service. They collect they cover your bank fee and the give you a bonus on every check they collect.

CC on file to cover a bad check is against the law. You cant just go around running peoples CC without thier consent. Why get bent out of shape about this when there are companies out there that will do the work for you.

Contact your local District Attorney's office and see if they have a bounced check program.
