Re: Changing Pricing Structure..Need Suggestions
Is no one going to suggest days. Minutes are the worst - they are to customer friendly. 30 days is our biggest seller - year in year out.

Re: Changing Pricing Structure..Need Suggestions
mjk~ in answer to your question, yes you should always wear them. You type as tho u r very young. Eye protection should always be a MUST in any salon that you visit. Buy em, Keep em and wear em.....

Re: Changing Pricing Structure..Need Suggestions
Okay, so somehow this entire thread got off subject. No offense but eye protection doesn't have anything to do with sessions.....now we could really use some input here about how to set up the sessions....Ezliving Jim...could you please send me email explaining a little further about how you set it up. I don't want to know your prices but just setup.
For example....here are our prices for the first two levels we have.....(Please keep in mind....this town is small and very poor): Level one Base bed: |

Re: Changing Pricing Structure..Need Suggestions
Oops sorry, here's the prices. I hit enter before I should have...
Level one base bed 26 lamps, 20 min max 100 min is $17.95, 300 min is $35.50 Level two 160 w canopy, 100 bench 15 min max, 100 min is $37.50, 300 min is $75.50 So, based on these prices we are looking for suggestions on setting up the price struction to sessions. Once again, how do you explain to clients why sessions are better than minutes? Thanks again, Laney & John |

Re: Changing Pricing Structure..Need Suggestions
Laney, I've never done minutes. Sessions is definately the way to go IMO. Also I believe that people get really confused when it comes to charging change. For example you said you charge $17.95 or $13.50......I've heard people complain when they have to literally get out a calculator to figure out how much they are paying per session/minute. I say keep it simple with a flat dollar amount. Others may disagree but I know personally when you have to sit and figure things it gets irritating and confusing. Good Luck. Oh, I live in small town and my prices are $4.00 base bed - 20 minutes
$5.00 32.3 - 3 facial - 20 minutes $6.00 36 upgrade $6.00 HEX (up to 15 minutes) 10 sessions for 30.00 and 1.00 to upgrade to anything 1 month unlimited for 39.00 and $1.00 to upgrade If someone comes in and only does 10 minutes in a 20 minute bed I'll just take off a dollar or so. Simple - easy - No confusion or adding to do! GOOD LUCK! |
