Re: Thoughts
Cametotalk i was just stating.. IF he sells them supre...why not the rest of it? (Caltan, DS etc... )
There is a line most salon owners should not cross...it will definately hurt themselves and the industry more...than the quick buck helps now. JMHO They cannot say yes to the buyer on supre and not the rest ..that is just how it works. SO I wanted twofiddy to consider what he MIGHT be asked later down the line...if he decided to do this.

Re: Thoughts
No only the supre and mostly just the hemp. Supre is a company that claims to care about their products and the manner in which they are sold - but then we all know that is not true.
Does supre sell to hair supply places and chain drug stores? Yes. Does supre bottle products under different names to sell only to hair supply stores? Yes. Does supre lie to our faces year in and year out? Yes. They sell products that we cant have but the products we get anyone can sell. Cal-Tan DS (the products we make the real money on) when they say they care and at least put forth visable effort to keep their products in the salon only. I would not resale thier products if for no other reason i would not want to lose the ability to sell these products. I respect those who respect me. Supre does not. How do i sell one brand and not the other - the reply is no. It is very easy to say. Just like if a new customer doesnt want to comply with our time standards we set forth for new customers - no i am sorry. |

Re: Thoughts
I see several points to this topic.
I see where 250 is thinking hey I can make some $$$ from the hair salons, since I can't get the sales on the products due to their "lowballing prices". MJ has valid points also. Once you sell them the Supre, they'll want the others. My suggestion is this. If you are getting it at a better price than the hair salons, meet or beat their pricing and advertise it. Get those sales back in your salon. Obviously they cannot sell it much lower due to their pricing. Advertise that it is a tanning moisturizer, etc. Not sure if this helps much, just my two cents. Re: Thoughts
I can take both sides for selling it to them and not selling it to them, but I guess there is no difference selling it to a hair salon rather than putting it on e-bay aand selling it at a lower price.
