I'm not dark by any means, but I've been keeping a moderate tan. So, even though I'm a type 2, right now I don't really look like one. So, when she refused to let me try the big bed first (it was a VHR), I couldn't really see why. It's not like I was paper white when I went in.
I think that hurts upgrades... if you plant the seed that you'll get burned in the bigger beds, it's going to stick in that client's head and I don't think they'll be as likely to upgrade. |

This is a good topic to discuss.
I will start anyone in any level they wish, just adjusting the exposure time accordingly of course. When I tour, I explain the level 1 is more for beginners to stumilate melanin production and the upgrades will both stimulate and brown more efficeintly. Less burning more browning with the upgrades because of the different ratio of UVA/UVB. Alot start in our entry VHR (sunstorm) For those that are lighter type 1/2 I suggest the level 1 with a product like Halo for added UVB protection so as they can handle longer times in there. |

You will burn much easier in the 120watt versus the other units. Hmmmm...what bed do you have that is 120W? |

WE ALWAYS ENCOURAGE R FAIR OR NEW PERSON 2 GO IN R BETTER BEDS CAUSE LESS UVB WHICH MEANS LESS CHANCE OF BURNING . THEY DONT GO THE FULL TIME AND NEED 2 BUILD A BASE BRFORE DOING MAX TIME. I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST A FAIR SKINED PERSON DOING A 20 MIN BED. THEY R DEFFINTLY GOING 2 BURN CAUSE OF ALL THE UVB. IN MY EXPERIENCE THIS WORKS BETTER IN SALES AND LESS CHANCE OF BURNING PEOPLE. THEY CLIENTS ALSO NO THE DIFFERENCE IN BEDS THAT WAY
