What on average do salon owners make

I'm currently a salon owner in Connecticut...I'm looking to get out of the business, I need to know what on average other salon owners make. My salon is average in size, an LLC with Me, the sole owner. I need to be able to give a very interested buyer an average of what he can make coming into an existing salon with an established clientele, we've been open for 7 years.....I want to be able to give him real stats not just what I make what everyone on average makes, and what he could make....please help! I need the info by Friday

Well, what DID you make? I'd start there. An educated perspective buyer will always see through BS.

amen dc. Your books should say enough without other peoples income, that differs vastly from every demographic. I would also be hard pressed to see anyone on this website sharing that information with you. If you truly want an industry prospective, contact the smart tan network and they have the industry bench mark report for I believe 2003, 2004. That way you can compare how your salon stacks up against other salons, larger, smaller, etc.

Salon owners make a lot of trips to the drug stores for asprin, thats what we make.

I've made almost a million and I haven't hit my first anniversary yet! Will that help you?
What I have made in this business is, I have made it hard for me to get off my high horse and hire help so I can go out of town when it is absolutely necessary, like now.

Oh yeah that too, sorry, to much asprin, I have switched to goodie powders LOL, they work alot faster!
