Free Free Free Free Free............. Everybody falls for something free. Think about what someone would have to do to get YOU in their salon. Free sessions, weeks, or etc. is a great idea. It is not costing you a thing. We opened at the begining of slow season and have already pulled what we expected to pull in a year. We gave our clients free sessions and during those sessions we sold them packages with the urgency method(Buy Now and Recieve!)

ALL OF THE INPUT HAS BEEN GREAT - THANKS A LOT FOR A BOOST. SOME OF THE THINGS ALREADY WORKING ON - NOT IMPLEMENTED YET - Just about to implement a referral plan offering $5.00 bonus points via business type cards. Tanning beds are EXTRA LG TURBO BEDS AND 60 BULB STAND UPS. THINKING ABOUT ADDING SUNLESS OR HIGH PRESSURE FOR ANOTHER UPGRADE. ONCE WE GET SOMEONE TO TRY THE BED (VIA FREE TAN) THEY GET HOOKED - ITS A GREAT BED. THINKING ABOUT OFFERING OUR INACTIVE AND ACTIVE CUSTOMERS EITHER 1/2 OFF OR A FREE TAN IN THE NEW STANDUP - WHAT DOES ANYONE THINK ABOUT THIS POSSIBILITY? ITS EASIER TO GET PEPOLE TO TAN THAN TO EXERCISE - MORE FUN I GUESS. BUT THE EXERCISES ALWAYS SEEM TO BREAK DOWN AND TRY A FREE TAN. CROSS MARKETING - NOT SURE HOW TO GO ABOUT APPROACHING SOMEONE - WE HAVE A NAIL SALON OPENING NEXT DOOR IN ABOUT A MONTH AND A PIZZA/SUB SHOP NEXT DOOR AND A FLORIST.

Cross marketing is great. You scratch their back and they will scratch yours. The best promotion we have had is to sell a year for dirt cheap but we advertise it for twice as much. When we go over prices we pull the "just for you" deal. Make it so rediculous that it would be dumb to buy a month instead of a year. Month 59 Year 199. If you sell a year, they will be yours for a year and no one elses. You will still make money on lotions, skin care, upgrades, and maybe even a membership to the gym.

Curious, thanks. We have a year package but maybe I'll lower the price - makes sense. I did just hook up yesterday with a local teachers association internet membership and they gave me a whole page on the website for free, by just offering a discount to their members and a buy one get one free tan coupon. Hopefully it'll help. Can't hurt. Was Free.
