Plants are important I think! No matter what your decor, plants will go with anything... We've got lots of plants. I think lighting is important too, although the salon we took over the lighting sucks....typical celing tiles with flourecent lights....bla. If I had the $$ I'd drop the celing and put in dim spot lights, or something like that.

That's what I have. Recessive(sp?)lighting with dimmer switches and a ton of plants. I agree, plants make a difference. Once I added them all, it added so much life to the place!
