I recommend Tan Track by Nichesoft. Easy to use, Easy to train new staff, tracks every aspect of your salon plus other services and is the only POS program that will track your sunless solution.

Pricing is in the neighborhood of $600. There is an annual service fee of about $200. However it is worth it. The service is excellant. If you have a problem, even if it with your pc, they will help you to get it fixed.

Call Wendy at 877-488-2901 to get started. Tell her that Jerry sent you. I promise that you will not be sorry.

Not sure. I haven't looked into that. I would call Nichesoft.

I did have it on a network system and it worked fine.

Ram, can have a client eligible for 10% discounts or do you manually have to do it? I think with TanTrack I would have to change my minutes too because I have Mega and Super minutes and TanTrack is on a point system. Another thing I wish is that you could share minutes instead of having to edit accounts.

how about helios, Salon Touch, and others... I posted this question sometime ago. I was expecting that each of the salon owners would would give the Pros and Cons of the software that they use today. I am about to purchase software as well, and have the following requirments: Credit Card Processing Built-in, EFT Processing Built-in, LAN/WAN so that I can have to terminals at the counter, run some back office functions from home, Network multiple salons, and is Easy to use.

I Don't know where your research has taken you but Helios locked up my computer in Demo mode, and when I took the helios class other salon owners had the same problem. On the other hand after interviewing 10 helios users they like the product, once they got to know it.

Sun Touch has also come highly recommended. This would be a great polling question.

We have been pleased with Helios. Never a problem with the program itself. We have only had one issue that required tech support and they were awesome.

The only function it does not perform for us is allowing to split a package with out editing accounts. Which if fine because you don't want to allow customers to split packages anyway.

In Tan Track you have to manually give them the discount, but that insures you are looking at the account plus you may want to change it.

Tan Track will work with minutes, sessions, points, unlimited, upgrades and any timer you have.

To share minutes, You'll have to split them between customers. The program tracks what each customer does. Hard to do if you have 2 or more using the same minutes.
