hi , i am so confused. can anyone help? i bought a bed from a local salon to use in my home. it is a sunsource 5000. i had two electricians out to hook up the 220v to the house turned the bed on and the digital t max timer on the bed lights up and counts down time but the bulbs or fan do not come on???? is there a reset or something that needs to be done because we just cant figure it out. the bed was hooked up to work off a remote when it was used by the tanning salon. we tryed to hook it up that way also but it still doesnt work. there is a plug that goes from the bed to a 110v outlet and on it says hva- 3 . we hooked that to the remote timer and plugged it in but it still doesnt work. there is a little light on the side of the hva-3 thing but thats not coming on when i plug it in? i know there is power. is that little light supposed to come on?? if anyone can help i sure would appriciate it. thanks a bunch!!!

Sounds like you have power to the bed but the main contact or realy is not opening..Try pushing center in on main relay and see if the lamps come on make sure you have your contact wires hooked up correctly. Not real familiar with ets equipment but i would guees that the hva-3 you refer too is a power board and yes that needs power to operate.I would try to hook it up stand alone with out the remote timer..just use the hva-3 plug it into an outlet you now works and try that.

gosh ergo i feel really stupid. i have no idea where the main relay is. ive not seen anything like that. where are the contact wires? the hva-3 looks just like a low volt plug. something that you might see attatched to a cordless phone plug or power pack type thing.we tryed to hook the bed up without using the remote but that didnt work. what does that plug opperate anyway? seems like the 220v should be all it needs, just plug that in and it should work???

I am sure it is the timer it is always by passed when it comes from the salon and goes into a home. We can walk you thru it if you need any help and yes it is a great bed and will run a long time. You can walk around on those and jump if you want on the shell that is strong bed.
