I am always interested in the decor of tanning salons. What was your theme? or was it purely function?
Mine is a spa like atmosphere with mainly white walls (accent walls in each room in dk orange and select accent walls in a citurs green in lobby and loft area, grey slate floors, black leather sofa/ottomans and black/chrome chairs in rooms, dimmable high end lighting throughout. Desk and floating lotion cabinet hand made in oak and birdseye maple. Matching oak stairs to the loft level. My reasoning for this was a upscale sleek metropolitan feel to the salon. Any pics in your gallery??? I need help shrinking mine.. HELP! |

Try your best to match your beds and make sure if you have a top end bed, say an Ergoline Advantgarde 850 you match your salon to the top bed's colors. If at all possible, make that room visible from the street at night and leave the door open so customers can see your $36,000 tanning equipment. Lots of salons are going after the dark/quiet look now instead of the bright/loud/beachy look.
Hard wood floors / laminate hardwood is always a good thing. Just no plain carpet like you'd find in a house. |
