ok heres any easy question that hopefully i wont get alot of hate responses from it.........whats the best tanning bulbs out there. the salon i go to uses cosmolux / cosmedico 160 watts....55 body bulbs and 12 face tanners ( 2-400 watts face tanners in each box )

i also remember a salon i used to go to used phillips 100 watts, with 4 or 5 ,80 watt bulbs to accomodate a single 400 watt face tanner

and which is better, bulbs with built in reflectors, or bulbs that refeclt off aluminum .

also whats the best ratio for UVA to UVB rays in a bulb so one cant get a " sunburn " .

ok thats it........any input wouold be greatly appreciated.

i just like learning new things about indoor tanning beds / bulbs / lotions, etc.......i want to open up a small salon within the next year or so........nothing big, but it will have 1 or 2 beginners beds ( 100 watt only bulbs with 1 400 watt face tanner.......then maybe 2 medium beds with 160 watt bulbs and either 2 or 3 , 400 watt face tanners, then a strong bed with either 160 or 180 or maybe even 200 watt bulbs and at least 4-8 , 400 watt face tanners, and also a stand up tanning booth.

so my questions might be trivial to some of the pros in here, but like i said any input, info would be greatly appreciated!

have a Happy Thanksgiving if i dont see any of you next week

ricky

If you go with a Genesis lamp you can go with a 170 watt lamp so it'll be a little stronger. Those are viewed by most people as the number one lamp on the market right now.
