What\'s happening with this?

The latest action update is a year old. This is a great idea, but I don't see anything Earthshaking on the website. I agree this is something that can help everyone, but please tell me I will get more for than golf tournaments and nasty grams for my contributions. We need to grow some muscles and flex them. IMHO

PTAF is very much alive and kicking. We have our attorney working on the Inside Edition TV show.

We would like donations but we are not actively soliciting.

Most tanning education sites, etc. only provide the salon owner with info, and leave it up to you to pass the word along. It has been known for sometime that these ords need to become more proatcive rather than reatice. And even if they could be reactive in the publics eye, it would be nice. After 7 years, I didn not renew my Smart Tan membership. Why? Same monthly mailers for 7 years. Get proactive people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your little mailers don't help when I have no one to show them to!!

There wasn't anything in the ABC story that could be contested journalistically. PTAF can challange inaccurate news segments but there are no grounds for legal action for the accurate reporting of research when we disagree with the study design or its conclusions.

ABC made a fairly straightforward report of (I believe) a pretty ignorant "junk science" study that was published by a respected medical journal.

This study needs to be contested on it's own terms by peers, better researchers and scientists.
