illegal to tan if under 18 (il. new tanning law being proposed)

does anyone have any news on this? if its gonna be passed or not? or when they will find out? heard about this a couple months ago but nothing since. thanks

You may want to pick up the phone and call John Overstreet at the ITA.

In california we had a huge issue with this same matter. It was everywhere in the media, a huge ordeal, and it did not pass. I see a problem personaly that a minor can waltz into planned parent hood and get an abortion but gawd forbid they can get some color on their skin. They can get birth control and wow a tattoo, piercings, etc. The list goes on. However they did pass that anyone under the age of 14 is not allowed to tan. I do not see it passing but I would contact the ITA, they sent out numerous packets in how to lobby against this bill.
