Some people like the red look they get from the extra heat. For a similar type of lamp at 100W and 160W, that's going to be the only difference.
On the other hand, if they're talking about the amount of time spent laying in the bed, then you can get a longer nap in a 100w bed than a 160w bed. |

If I remember my physics correctly, the "watt" is a measurement of power output. Therefore, a 160w has higher output than the 100w. I do know that the 160w lamps have higher UVA yield than 100w lamps, and we all know that the penetrating UVA ray is what oxidizes the melanin to turn it brown. Deeper penetration equals longer lasting.

If a bed is only allowed to deliver 4 meds legally in a single maximum exposure then all beds are created equal right? Unless salons cheat,and nobody does that.
