The latest Scam...
A friend of mine owns a new salon a few towns over. Last week a guy who is a salon owner in the same town came into her salon and started talking. He asked her who she bought from and what her discount was, then he told her not to buy from her current distributor and to buy her lotion from him. My friend called her distributor and was told that if she bought from a non-authorized distibutor she would not recieve any rebates or spiffs.
So this guy is going around trashing distributors so salons will buy from him. Then he would collect all the incentives. What an Jerk!
ONLY BY FROM AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up!

why would you ever buy your lotion from your competition regardless of scam or no scam.

I agree, My friend didn't and wouldn't. Hopefully other salon owners wouldn't either, but some people want lotion for the cheapest price regardless of where they get it. I thought that if someone was looking for the cheapest price and not caring where they got it from, they should be aware of why others are willing to sell to them at that price.

This guy is obviously trying to find a way to buy more product from his distributor to boost his rebates and spiffs, using someone elses cash. Neat trick.
