i know a girl that has tanned for the past week. i see her everytime she goes tanning. (we usually end up going at the same time). she has white spots everywhere and i know what they are but she has HUGE ones around both her eyes. she asked me about how to get rid of it but i don't know if that head and shoulders stuff can go near your eyes. what should i tell her? the girl there didn't know either. they look likes glasses painted around her eyes.

The eyelids have no (or minimal) pigmentation to allow a certain amount of transparency. In some people, this extends even further out, and creates what's called the "owl effect." She can use a DHA product but should really keep it away from the eyes.
