i dont allow pregnant women to tan, its too risky isnt worth the problems, dr consent or no dr consent. pregnant women dont need to tan. they need to be worried about their baby not their vanity.

We have a policy that if you are pregnant, you can not tan. We havent had a problem with it as of yet. We will freeze a package until the child is born and the mom is ready to tan again.

This is one of the worst myths in the industry. Doctor's permission because we live in a litigious society and everone wants to cover their butt, but truly - no tanning?? They are putting their pregnancy in more risk by driving anywhere, taking a shower (could slip and fall), riding a bike (I had a HUGE wipeout, which necessitated x-rays -- a double whammy!), eating half the foods in a typical diet, being exposed to chemicals from a variety of beauty techniques (hair, nails,...) and so on.
BUT - expect your doctor to say no, because they don't like tanning anyway, and they want to cover THEIR butts too.... |
