I want to offer airbrush or HVLP but I tried it out at a day spa and it was extremely sticky. What do I need to look for when deciding on a good solution that is not sticky or smelly. Also would like different colors for different skin colors. I have very fair skin and my 'tan' was way too dark.

DS has a new sunless solution, Ive heard good things about it, havent tried it myself, also Body Invest has a solution that gives great results. Once the client is dry they are not sticky.

We got a sample of the DS spray, and it was not half as tacky as the California Tans line, but it was limited in color. I'm not giving up the Cal Tans product yet.

Fairlady,
I would reccomend the HVLP- gives a better tan, easy to learn, quicker than airbrush. I have both.
Also its not really necessary to carry multiple colors. You can vary your clients tan by the way you apply it. Then you don't have to worry about having to much product on hand. Also some people may be fair but tan really well.

Try out differant solutions then make a choice.
Good Luck
