Ok...I know this has been done to death...but I'm 25 and I need to try something to make my skin even just a bit darker. I'm most likely a skin type 1...I burn...I'm Irish.
I need recommendations here...I don't know JACK...and I've looked around but it gets confusing. I also need a recommendation for a good tanning salon in Philadelphia that would sit down with me and break things down. I really appreciate anything you guys can do for me...I will try to post pics in my profile... |

Try a lotion with a Bronzer in it and yes a booth may help....but you will still burn when outdoors.
YOu should always use an SPF when outdoors. It you do go to a salon, ask to use the high pressure bed, and only go a few minutes each time. This will help you build a base tan slowly and should minimize burning. Make sure you purchase a good moisturizer and the SPF from the salon. Good Luck and lets us all know how it all turns out. |

You know, if you are a true Type I, I'd never let you past the front desk. However, if you think that you can tan (you get a tan line under a watch) I'd start you at a extremely low 2 minutes and see how you do and build up from there using no lotion at all.
