Tropic girl....I don't have an outside vent for the dryer either....we vent into a plastic container of water. Works just fine, as long as everyone keeps it full of water. It's kinda connected to the vent, like it was made for it, hard to explain.

jacks mommy-you can do that? I guess that keeps the moisture from getting into the air somehow? I know thats the issue, is if you dont vent, the moisture can cause some serious problems-mildew, mold, etc.

I get that busy during this time of year, that I simply couldn't supply 'everybody' with towels!! I supply roll for them that they can either use on themselves or to wipe down the bed with cleaner, i also supply face wipes and deodorant. They all seem happy with this, as most of our local tanning shops dont offer half of that!

Suntrap, does the paper towels scratch your acrylics?
Also, we try to keep 4 or 5 towels in the drawers of each room. Just in case someone needs an extra. However, we've noticed the drawers are empty quickly. Surely tanners aren't needing to take hand towels home with them??????? Also, putting in a washer and dryer was the best thing for us to do. I could not take laundry home with me every night after working 2 jobs a day. Heck, I don't even do the laundry at home. (big smile) |

tropicgirl - the salon has been doing it for the entire 14 years it's been here. Not a problem. Like I said, it's kinda hard to explain - especially since I'm not the one who set it up or even came up with it. Previous owner had it in here...

Speaking of towels...
We overbought from a supplier and now have 10 extra cases (10 dz/case) of 22x44 camel colored towels for sunless. They cost me $2.50/ea or $30/dz. Don't want any profit off them, just need to get them outta here! E-mail me if interested or have questions. And no, I'm not a towel manufacturer or distributor. -M- |
