We bought an existing salon - owner used to give away wink-ease - we sell goggles and would like to sell the wink-ease as well - but are afraid we will look cheap. Any suggestions? (we are giving them away now)

We have always sold Winkease and Viewkeepers for 50¢. There has never been any price resistance.

We do occasionally give them away as a courtesy to regular clients that forget their personal eyewear.

I'm thinking about switching to the "customer-owned" goggles camp.

In addition to selling the goggles, I am thinking we can also sell ziplock baggies for the client to store them in.

Also, why not offer to sanitize their goggles as they leave for a nominal fee?

Wow! Maybe we could even provide on-site storage boxes they could store lotions and goggles in for a small monthly rental fee.

I'm just kidding you guys...

Free enterprise!!! Ya gotta love it!!! You guys (and gals) all put your money where your mouth is and started your own tanning business. Cool thing is, you get to decide how to run it!

I'm not against selling goggles. I'm not even against people making claims they can't back up with scientific proof. I'm slightly smarter than the average chimp and am reasonably capable of seperating the wheat from the chaff.

Cool thing is, so are the rest of you! Thanks again for the interesting and entertaining topic!
