I have 2 salons in Ontario, Canada and we have co-ed rooms in both salons. The advantage to us as a salon is the fact that we DO NOT take appointments, we work strictly on a walkin basis. We have alot of couples that tan with us and the co-ed room has been a god send, they wait for one room and are in at the same time and out at the same time. We also have alot of young girls that use it together, we have *** couples that use it, and alot of mothers and daughters that use it. We have NEVER had the kind of problem you are talking about with our co-ed room, probably becuase I inform them the first time in it that the walls are open at top and noise travels better than they think, think I should start telling some of the ladies that when they go in single rooms...lol There are times when it gets used as a single room yes, but from what we have seen, the advantages to having it have far out weighed the disadvantages.
