Everyone is talking about the sunless booths (i.e. Mystic Tan, Magic Tan, etc.) and there $30,000+ price tag. Maga Enterprises is offering a spray booth for a starting price of $17,000 w/ 3 yr. warranty . Is this in the "you get what you pay for" category, or is this company offering a quality product when compared w/ the higher priced brands?
Anybody ever used this one? http://www.magaent.com is there website for those wishing to check it out. Not asking for a comparison of UV and sunless. Just of one sunless company with another sunless company. So easy with the bickering! Give a newbie some info. thanks |

what are you talking about!? I don't know enough about the tanning industry or computers to post spam. I'm a bartender (for 14 yrs.) looking for some simple information on equiupment so I can get out of this dead end racket. My real name is Jimmy Roberson and I live in the Fort Myers area. Feel free to check and see if I am trying to sell something.
I have been researching for quite a while on distributor websites, tantalk, tantoday, the smart tan site, and anything else I can read about the industry. When any post on this chat forum contains the word spray, the website about that booth comes up when clicked on. I just want to know if it is a quality machine! Thanks for nothing just some ***. _________________ "There is no such thing as paranoia, Bubba. It's all true." Hunter S. Thompson[ This Message was edited by: EGGBOOTS on 2004-09-15 17:53 ] |

Don't take it personally. This place has been over run with fly by nighters posing as "potential investers". You triggered the donkey alarm with the multi post so I had to grill ya. Hero of the stupid so they say. It definately looks interesting but no mention of it on here that I've seen.

I want to respond on this topic because I am so confused about all this spray tan business. I have been researching as well and have learned that alot of people are getting sued over patent rights-Sunless Express no longer exists, Hollywood Tan and Magic Tan have suits pending against them. Salons have been sued and had to turn over equipment they purchased-check the patents on the system before you spend a dime-Mist on Tan-Dr. Laughlin-seems to have the market cornered unless to look into the systems you spray on yourself. Just what I have learned so far.

Engfant,
Thanks. That's all I am after. I posted twice 'cause I am just like a child at all this posting, chatting stuff; learning as I go. I'll try to watch what I'm doing from now on. Not taken personally at all. Just don't want to be shut out by everybody right from the start. |

I'm no lawyer, but if you buy a product that is of questionable origin, patent infringements etc., I can't see why you'd be sued/held responsible in said suit. ie: Pepsi sues Coke over they're new label, they don't sue everyone that buys a can of Coke with the new label. p.s. SUNLESS SUCKS when they promote it as fast, natural and healthy. ( just my opinion) |

I have a new machine from Mega Sun that looks like the one you are talking about. Mine cost 22k and is 3 months old. It had taken MegaSun almost 2 months to get the thing working. The problems are the pump doesn't pump that well (leaks on the floor)but we have another bigger problem. The fans are always clogged it takes my husband time once a week to clean them(only 8 clients a week). Now the spray I think if you put the carmel solution in an elephant and get him to blow you would get a better even spray. The elephant would be cheaper then the leasing company charges per month.
