I was approached by a snotty sales rep for tanology who asked me to carry her line of lotions. I didn't like her approach she thought she was Trump of lotions but I'm game for trying new lotions and being that it was consignment I though why not give it a try. (sigh)
The lotion wasn't impressive & they kept charging my checking account (twice) for orders that I didn't make nor need. I had enough. So I deiced it was not worth the aggravation and ask the rep to take the lotions back. She was so irate and belligerent. Using foul language in the salon meanwhile her young son was with her. It was unbelievable I had to actually have her escort off the premises by the police. I will never deal with this company again until the do study of their own sales representative! |

I carried Tanology for about 6 months this year. My rep was very professional and helpful. I thought the lotion was as good, if not better, than most of what is out there. Problem was you have to sign an agreement as to what you are allowed to charge for it. They give minimal discounts and frankly I make more on other lines. My rep was very good about closing out the line from my salon. Sounds like you had a winner of a rep.

I TOOK ON TANOLOGY LAST YEAR I ALSO THOUGHT THE PACKAGING WAS VERY BAD AND THEIR
MARKETING WAS DIFFERENT BUT I MADE MORE MONEY,STILL AM AS FAR AS MY REP. SHE'S PROBALY THE BEST SHE KNOWS HER STUFF AND ALL OF MY COMPLAINTS ARE BEING HANDALED WAIT TIL 2005 YOU'LL HEAR ALOT ABOUT "TANOLOGY" |

NO not kidding at all. Wish I was. I didn't want it to go down like that but she left me with no options...

I was contacted by a great Tanology rep earlier this summer, and since the products are on a consignment basis, and somewhat excluse in my area, I decided to give them a try. I think the lotions are really good, expecially the Serum 21 after tan moisturizer. I do think a couple of them a little to pricey (for my area anyway). They sold OK, everyone that bought them loved them. And my rep is super! Things have slowed way down now, and I don't know if they'll keep the line in here our pull it out... I'm not sure what their policy is on slow, or make that no sales?!?! Sorry for your bad experience... blame it on the rep, not necessarily the company.
