BEWARE!!! The west coast SOLTRON distributor is opening salons in your area!!! Currently operating under a different business name with a partner! Just beware who you are buying from because these guys will soon become your competitor or put you out of business!!!

Ergoline was rumored 4 years ago to be doing this. All you Ergo buyers have nobody to blame but yourselves. The Open Forums have been warning not to do business with them..now it comes to haunt you..and me.
The irony is, I personally, never contributed a dime to their pockets. SONTEGRA RULES..as does AUVL. |

They have no control over what there distributors do. I am sure there are alot of distributors that own salons with other equipment and the other salons are not aware of it.
It does suck if they come in and lowball the prices because they can. Thats the part I hate about all of the franchises is there stupid 18.88 month unlimited and ect... It just hurts them and more important everybody else from making good money. |

Oh ~ I think there is PLENTY a company can do to ensure their Distributors are not harming their name - - - if they want to that is....
I remember not too long ago Max Recone of Caltan telling me he would no longer use Distribution that had sub-distributors .... and yet - FourSeasons (who I dropped due to their predatory salons chasing their local comp to the grave) has URI listed as a sub-distributor .... Last I looked - - URI is also the distrib for Big Dog .... the Elite BAD DOG.... and I have heard that FourSeasons is currently the Main Supplier of Tanning Products to the Beauty Supply. Lip Service is what is being used to continue to blow smoke up your *** until you cannot SEE REALITY thru your eyes.... Anyone ever taken a deep look at BeautyDirect? |

Where is beautydirect located,Never heard of them. I'm sure that with the decrease in disty's some of this will come to an end.
I know that 10 years ago ETS had over 350 dist. That number is now down to less then 70 and well controlled. And to answer a question above, Its in contracts between Manf. and disties that there records may be inspected. But to my knowledge it has never been done by ETS. Ergo might be a diff. storie.
