Interesting topic. Let me say this as the absolute truth. Equipment and equipment types are for marketing purposes. The mix of equipment you have chosen should have been for the purpose of supporting your marketing program. When you sell use of your 100 watt equipment it should be a value sale and is not driven by the quality of the tan. To make a 100 watt system tan stronger than it is designed is missing the boat on two levels. 1. If a person is looking for a better tan than they are getting on your 100 watt system they are ready for an up-grade tan. 2. By making your 100 watt beds tan stronger than the original design you are narrowing the separation to your up-grade equipment affecting its use. This is a typical and most often made mistake. This way of thinking will cost you a great deal of income. How many other costly mistakes are you making?

Steve,

Maybe all she has is 1 type of bed?

There are still salons that do that!

John you are correct, I don't know what I was thinking. The fact still remains if you want a stronger tanning system you must do it in a way that will make you more money. Better lamp more cost less bottom line, unless you do it for the sake of making more money.
