Revenue figures

We are a Community Recreation Center, we are open 100/hrs week. WE have 200-300 patron per day. WE are trying to get a Sun Tan Booth. Do you think $24,000 revenue is realistic for the first year?

As long as you can avg. 6.6 sessions per day you could do $24K.

$24,000/$10 avg. session =2400 session/360 days = 6.6 sessions per day.

Do an informal survey to see how many people would tan in the booth, that should give you an idea of how well you will do.

Definitely. That is averaging 10 tanners per day at an average price of $7 per person. This is a very reasonable figure.

I definetly think the numbers are possible. But also are you going to have a staff member who is able to educate your clients who use the tanning bed? People might abuse the fact like going in too long etc, if there is not a trained person helping clients out. Like i said the numbers are possible but dont forget to look at how to keep your clients coming to you.
