Difference between accelerators, maximizers, bronzers, etc.

Hi all!

Newbie here! I just started tanning a few weeks ago and am doing pretty OK w/ my tan up until now. It doesn't seem to be getting any darker! I've been using the Supre HEMPZ maximizer and the Hempz moisturizer too. I was wondering if I should now upgrade to another type of lotion. I have no idea what is good and what all the difference is between all those crazy types like the Accelerators, maximizers and bronzers!!!

Help!

Hempz will definately plateau so go with a mild tingle for a reddish look, bronzer for a darker brown look.

All lotions will work, all of us reach plateaus, but keep in mind you will only get as dark as you melanin is going to allow. If you need a boost in color try a tingle product. Only put it on your arms and legs. You can try your legs first so this will allow you to see how you are going to like to lotion. I say just purchase a packet to start and dont get in the habit of using a tingle everyday, you dont want to look like wipped leather. You should want you tan to look natural. Are you using your moisturizer everyday? If not do so, everytime you get our of the shower you should put your moisturizer on. Are you using a shower gel or soap? And you can try exfoliating at least once a month to help with sloughing of dead skin cells, this will allow tanning of new skin cells.
