Tanning Bed Rentals for Home Use

I have a tanning client that has approached me about renting one of my medium pressure 36/3 VHR beds for setup and use in his home. I do have the bed available as I'm replacing with a new model. He wants a bed in his home but doesn't want to spend $6K to purchase a used VHR and does not want a regular low pressure 20 minute Home use bed for $1K-2K. I have not seen or heard of companies making commercial VHR beds available for home use. My 36/3 VHR does have a built-in digital self timer so that would not be an issue. Are there legal considerations? Do you know of anyone currently offering this?

Seems like a hassle to me, sell it outright and get some immediate $$ instead of waiting to get a few bucks every month.

Sounds like a bad way to do business. I would ask him to purchase...no rent...if he doesnt pay up you will have all kinds of legal fees and more to get the bed back...and what if he gets some kind of skin cancer....Oh no...wouldnt touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Then again you could rent it out for some time, being used very little, and then get it back and sell it.

Sell it. No legal hassles like liability, damage to the unit, collecting on any unpaid rent. How long will it take you to recover the estimated resale potential by renting monthly?
