I know this has been covered before but could not find it with the search engine.
Looking at a new space that is 3,000 sf. has 9' ceilings, will have approx 20 rooms, some 7x9, some 8x10. The smaller rooms will have beds w/ 33 100 watt lamps. Bigger rooms have beds w/6 facials, 44 160w lamps. The bigger rooms will be on an outside block wall. Landlord is giving possibly one 10 ton roof top HVAC. Balance I need to come up with. How feasible is it to use individual room units, portable or on the outside wall they could even be window/thru the wall units. This would eliminate a considerable amount of buildout and time, and the individual units can be written off over 5 years instead of 37 on the fixed building improvemnts (just like the eurowall deal). Is this reasonable? Has anyone tried it? In the off season, you could basically use the 10 ton unit for general building cooling, since turns are so low, but still have adequate capacity when you need it during busy season. Please chime in. I am up against the clock. Thanks. |
