As I was applying my sample bottle of Smoke this morning I began to think.... Hmmm I really like this lotion and remember liking Supre for years. Why am I against Supre? Because they started selling to Beauty Supply and CalTan and JA pulled out! Well maybe Supre is smarter than we think! I'm still having problems with CalTan being sold to Beauty houses. Nailco is supplying 10 women in my area with all the CalTan they want. Yes I understand that NailCo is NOT meaning to do that but they are. So the end result is that CalTan is still in beauty and now Supre is also.

Where Supre messed up with me is the fact that they never returned my phone calls. I know buntanner and others have been treated the same way. They came on the boards and then disappeared!

I'm placing my loyality with Max and John because they are truly for us Salon Owners. They make themselves accessable for any questions we may have.

Back to Supre. Is it bad to sell their product in your salon? As far as their lotion being diverted to beauty I would say it's not bad to sell their lotions because all the others are there also. As far as the willingness of the management of their company to speak to salon owners I have to say this is where they fall short.

~~ Chunn, If Supre' was so smart - WHY would they jump into a bed that was barely cold ???? It was certain suicide to do this - to lie about doing it - and now, I don't know one Salon carrying this line. . .

Even if Smoke made me lose 30 pounds and gave me the strength of 3 eighteen year olds, I would not buy / sell this product.

Yes, there are still some leaks in the subject of diversion - - - but, Cal Tan has been proactive in dealing with this. . . JA has been less attentive - but the effort has been made. . . .

Supre' (with the exception of Hempz and Smoke) suks as a product. . . . and there are so many other products that are equal to if not better than Hempz and Smoke - that they will not be able to give this stuff away .

The Shorter Moral of the Story

Supre' has be more dishonest regarding diversion than any of the other MFGs.

Any Salon Owner that values their future in this industry would be nucken futz to support them.

I'd rather tan with Bassett Hound Poop than give a nickle to these liars.

LOL, what a play on words there Sheila. But well said at any rate.

Why should we support a company that has lied to us and sold us out for the almighty beauty $$

I'm getting rid of Supre Products. I like the new bronzer by JA better anyway. IF supre gets it figured out then maybe I'll carry the product again.

~~~ Hey Mitzie~~~
Want to know where the free samples of Smoke went in our salon???
Right in the $#@#@! garbage can. . . .see, it's our salon policy not to allow the use of certain products in our store - - - Supre' made that list the day it was confirmed they were In Bed w/Sally. . . .
Shorter Moral of the Story. . . .
Thanks. Yeah you are right. It sucks to be Supre'. . . . .
I'm not going to let this one die. I'm still upset with the fact that NailCo is selling CALTAN DIRECT to my customers.
Here is a list of manufacturers that allow them to sell their lotion.
Industry Source
I believe that Cal Tan is all words and no action on this issue. Despite the promoises and ideas, the reality is that they have not pulled out of beauty suppliers.
You can not trust the major manufacturers to protect your intrest, the fincial motivation for them is too much. How long will it take for Max to follow up his promises, June when another years of your profits have been stolen by inacation?
Micheal, salons do have the power to choose. Salons can sell any product they want to because their tanners will buy the products that they recommend!
I suggest salon choose to sell indoor tanning products that have already pulled out of beauty suppliers, retail stores and internet sites. The other alternative is to feature private label products in your salon.
Mr. Chunn,
Please send me a list of the ten women in your area buying Cal Tan from The Industry Source. This list will be verified and appropriate action will be taken, guaranteed.
As I explained to Greg at Soakin' Up the Rays, we have taken the most difinitive steps to prevent unauthorized brands being sold to beauty.
In the future, I am asking that you do not post any unsubstantiated claims about The Nailco Group or its divisions.
If you are unclear in this matter, you may email me directly at lgaynor@thenailcogroup.com.
Mr Gaynor,
Thank you for you attention to this problem. I have not posted anything towards NailCo that was not a factual event here in our salon. I'm working on getting an invoice where NailCo sold to this cosmotologist that does not own a tanning salon or any tanning equipment.
I will keep you updated and I look forward to having a conversation with you on the phone.
Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to see REAL problems that us salon owners are facing.
It is good that he is willing to verify this sale for you Mike.
But Mr. Gaynor, you use words of legal threats to freely. Is that your general persona? If you do not like what someone says you call your mouthpieces?
We have brough up legitimate problems and questions here. Not flaming anyone or any company with out justification.
Regards,
